Bank ABC Tunisia is reinforcing its Legal Department with therecruitment of a Senior Legal Officer.

Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities andDeliverables of Role:

1. Provide legal guidance and support to thebank's units including the business units on day-to-day matters.
2. Take part in establishing and drafting loanagreements handled by the Legal Department as well as their related documents(notifications, amendments, guarantees, releases, etc...).
3. Ensure a complete and proper listing of signedagreements and their collaterals, take care of their safe keeping and managethe periodic reporting of collaterals of the Legal Department's members.
4. Provide with legal opinion on the loan filesand the guarantees submitted to Legal Department.
5. Study and examine carefully the accountsopening files of legal entities and provide with the right comments.
6. Keep abreast of the Laws and Regulations andinform the Legal Department's members about their impact on the bank'sactivity.
7. Take part in the processing of seizures,administrative oppositions and requests from public authorities transmitted tothe bank in due time and in accordance with the Law requirements and proceduresof the bank.
8. Draft correspondences and notes to the bank'sdepartments and contractual arrangements.
9. Investigate legal claims and complaints by oragainst the Bank together with external lawyer, assess the output of externallawyers and their progress on the entrusted files through periodic meetings.
10. Gather and organize the litigationdocumentation available and prepare a related monitoring table.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge: Knowledge of Corporate Law, Real EstateLaw, Contracts Administration, Judicial Procedures.
• Education/ Certifications: Master's degree in business law
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in legal function or law firm. Legalexperience in the banking sector is preferred.
• Language: Fluent in Arabic, French and English.
