I'm an associate professor in environmental engineering and management

During my professional experience both in higher education and industry, I acquired several skills about teaching and applied research at university, R&D management in enterprise, Intellectual properties IPR, patent drafting and international projects for research, strong communication and negotiation with partners in each consortium of such project defended for funds. At Engineering School of Sfax in Tunisia (ENIS), I had the position of lecturer for five years from 2006 to 2011 at materials department section: cementitious composites and ceramics. I prepared teaching materials for practical courses about eco-construction and building materials for sustainability puposes. I supervised the quality and environmental management system at my institute, which was obtained the ISO 9001: 2008. After that, I worked in private sector, mainly in green technologies department at Cynapsys enterprise during one year and half. I had the position of R&D manager and I established the R&D process inside this enterprise. In 2012, I came back at university as an assistant professor in environmental management and sustainability. I was the coordinator of E-GOVTN  Erasmus project for international mobility of students at my university. Before that, I assisted the project coordinator at Sfax University in Tunisia to manage five Tempus and two Erasmus projects financed by European commission about innovation, leadership management, internationalization in higher education system and mobility exchange of students. The management of these projects were included administrative and financial activities, preparation of reports (quality assessment, survey, etc.), participation in the coordination meeting, organization of events (training sessions, workshops and international conferences) and dissemination process including internal and external communication with partners and stakeholders. 

In addition, from 2013 to 2021, I had the position of trainer in civil engineering department at TVTC of Saudi Arabia. During this period, I thaught several courses and supervised many graduated projects both for bachelor degree and diploma curricula. I was the president committe of the bachelor degree curricula.

Actually, I am an assoicate professor at Gabès university of Tunisia with an interest in contributing to a deeper understanding of sustainability issues in terms of wastewater reusing,   and the incorporation of solid wastes in building and construction materials.

 Due to several responsibilities during my career since 2006 until 2022 about teaching and research, I understand the important challenge for managing competitive funding programs financed by European Commission and I intended on my multidisciplinary background to provide expertise by coaching the team members during funding program design, implementation, award monitoring, and management reporting to the project coordinator. 

In other Hand, I have the qualification of patent agent certified by WIPO and KOICA organizations, an internal auditor in quality and environmental management system certified by TUV organization. I have also, a strong experience in drafting of international projects for funds joining both research structures and enterprises. During the summer of 2013, I contributed to the international master program about Leadership and Innovation Management supervised by Bari University of Italia, I recorded some courses about change management and technology innovation. 

Actually, I supervised master and PhD students about wastewater management and reusing benefit in irrigation for sustainability. I work in partime as a consultant in quality insurance in education, too.

Eventually, I had a good communication with stakeholders about innovation management and technology and I believe in social aspect to perform our mission : Using Knowledge Management to sustain innovation : Moving toward second generation.
