Mohamed Seddik MAHMOUD BOUGI

I would like to express my interest in applying for Postdoc position on Biogeochemistry.

I am Dr. Mohamed Seddik MAHMOUD BOUGI from Tunisia. I obtained my PhD in July 2019 with high distinction from the University of Monastir. I performed my final project work of my graduation in the laboratory of Environmental Engineering and Eco-Technology in the National Engineering School of Sfax, Tunisia. My research work has been interesting on prospecting light hydrocarbons in petroliferous regions. I evaluated this work by two publications in impacted journals and one oral presentation in international conference of Arabian journal of geology. During the years of my thesis, I had the chance tow times to do important and benefit trainings on the geosciences department in Aveiro University-Portugal. This training was supported by Tunisian Minister of research and technology.

Also, I had three internships in petroleum research wing in Gujarat Energy and research Management Institute in India. I did several Indian and Tunisian soil samples of biogeochemical analysis in the frame of summer internships and under CV Raman Fellowship.

I have also the chance one time to benefit training in the Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba. This training was part of project SATREPS funded by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
