Ikram Slimi

I'm a clinical psychologist, i've worked as an intern in different institutions. i'm passioned about helping and uplifting others, learning and experiencing new things. I have the ability to adapt to new situations, i'm also a collaborative person, receptive and resourceful. 

During my internships in the field of clinical psychology, I worked in different institutions and with different populations, which helped me develop my adaptability skills, as well as learning  how to deal with children and adolescents with intellectual deficiency, people dealing with trauma or suffering from another psychological disorder, and how to help them go past their difficulties in order to learn or relearn how to communicate with their environment again. I had the opportunity to learn how to write institutional analysis reports, and to work with interdisciplinary teams, better listen, observe, reflect and communicate with my colleagues in order to improve the functioning of the group. During these internships, I was confronted with different situations that require maintaining a positive attitude, in order to provide an adequate mental health service, as a psychologist. It also helped me develop my empathetic/active listening, communication and observation skills.

after getting my bachelor degree in psychology from the Higher Institute of Human sciences of Tunis. i' got enrolled in a master degree in clinical psychology of child and adolescent, now i'm waiting to discuss my thesis. I'm currently preparing another thesis to get my complementary study diploma in the field of psychocriminology and victimology.
