Engineering skills:
 Establish project development studies, FEED & Detailed engineering development of electrical
works in the petroleum and water treatment industry.
 Develop technical specifications, data sheets, and supply needs for electrical equipment (medium and low voltage electrical panels, cables, UPS, lightning protection system, etc…) in accordance with
international standards (IEC, NFC, NEMA, RC, NFPA, etc).
 Sizing of electrical equipment: Transformers, UPS, Batteries Capacitors, Emergency generator, etc…
 Prepare electrical equipment requisitions.
 Check and follow the preparations of the electrical plans (single-line diagram, cable routing, earthing,
lightning protection, lighting plan, layout plan, hazardous areas classification, etc.).
 Develop interconnection diagrams (control diagram, protection diagram, etc...)
 Establish the sizing and calculation notes (Load list, MV cables, LV cables, grounding and protection
against lightning.
 Prepare the list of electrical accessories.
 Technical evaluation of suppliers' offers (generator, switchboards, cables, panels, transformers, UPS,
etc…)
 Approval of supplier documents (generator, switchboards, cables, panels, transformers, UPS, etc...).
 Technical capacities of construction work:
 Carry out diagnostic studies for existing installations (MV/LV transformers, transformer protection
box, medium, and low voltage electrical panels, generator, lighting, earthing, etc.) in compliance with
safety standards.
 Supervise electrical work on-site for new projects and rehabilitation projects such as the installation of
equipment, cable pulling, wiring, lighting, grounding, etc.
 Carry out pre-commissioning work (insulation test, dielectric test, etc.)
 Commissioning of electrical equipment (generator, switchboards, cables, panels, transformers, UPS,
etc…) in compliance with safety standards.
Managerial skills:
 Coordination of engineering with other teams during the development of detailed studies.
 Coordination and distribution of work with the design and/or construction team.
 Project planning by organizing the tasks to be carried out.
 Ability to Control, Supervise and Evaluate the achievement of objectives
